Tiger Lily Tea in Connecticut

"I always make a point to stop in to Tiger Lily Tea whenever I’m in the area because their teas are delicious. This time I bought a few teas and when I opened the organic vanilla cinnamon rooibos, the smell was divine. I cold brewed a big batch of it to make overnight oatmeal. Peach Blackberry Overnight Oats 1/2 cup rolled oats 3/4 - 1 cup vanilla cinnamon rooibos tea 1/4 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt 2 tsp flax seeds A pinch of salt 1 peach 1 tbs blackberry jam 2 tbs pumpkin seeds More cinnamon as desired"

"I visited today and they have amazing tumbler type water bottles made from glass lined metal with infusers and clay ones as well. The tea is very vibrant and strong and the woman giving tea samples was so kind and let us try many teas before purchasing. What a lovely little shop."

"They serve the best iced and hot teas to go. They also come with really cool filter lids so you can rebrew the hot teas again if you want. They've maintained their prices on their loose leaf teas while everyone else has jacked theirs up through the roof so their prices are great now also."

"Came with my niece to visit Mystic CT mainly for the anime store but we found many different stores and explored. I love teas and came into Tiger Lily. The place was very cute and I love seeing the tea cups. The employee was super sweet and let us smell the different types of teas in the jars. I like fruity teas or white teas. I ended up purchasing the Raspberry Pomegranate and can’t wait to try! I also ordered the Ice Wine tea with ice and some honey and listen….I don’t know if she added magic in there but it was DELICIOUS! definitely will be purchasing online for the Ice Wine flavor. Also truly happy that they ship their products too because I’ll soon be moving to Indiana for my masters degree. Now I know where to get my precious teas from. "I'm in love with this place! The tea is so fresh and delicious. When you get a cup, you can get a second cup out of the leaves too! The woman who runs the store is sweet and really helpful. She knows a lot about tea and keeps a beautiful store. If you have time, you should definitely visit and get a cup."
